Hire real talents with Hyproctor, designed to block impersonators and AI-backed cheaters during interviews.
Today's market is booming with so-called Job Interview Copilots. From open source to arms-costing SaaS, you can access 50+ products.
Modern cheat tools are not captured by typical Entire Screen sharing of Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, etc. Visible to cheaters, but not to recruiters.
The interviewee is not who he says he is. They are not only wasting your time and resources, but also stealing fair opportunities from honest candidates.
Some are still trying to stand a chance with multiple displays and virtual desktop. Deadless mouse-and-cat game for you.
You might be interviewing AI illusion, not the real human. Imagine what are behind confident face and fluent voice.
Screen sharing is not sufficient for evolving cheaters. Dedicated interview platforms are far away to adopt.
Let the candidate share the screen, download Hyproctor app, and execute it -> Now you're with confidence!
Job Interview Copilots, stealth coding bots, suspicious device setup, remote desktop tools, abnormal behavior ...
IP address validation, VPN/Proxy existence, deep-fake software and device, poor network speed ...
We send you real-time notification for each flag. You review before making decisions.
We can detect 50+ interview cheating apps, and keep updating the list everyday. See the blacklist here.
Our proctor desktop app has a strong built-in cryptographic protocol that makes hacking attempts impossible.
We never store recordings, we never collect biometrics - because we don't have to. Your candidate’s privacy is respected.
Hyproctor has completely changed how we run remote interviews. We no longer worry about invisible cheat apps or impersonation. The alerts are clear and reliable. It’s the most secure proctoring tool I’ve ever used.
Our candidates now feel the process is fair for everyone. Honest applicants appreciate knowing that everyone is on a level playing field, and Hyproctor makes that possible without any intrusive monitoring.
I love that we can keep using Zoom and Teams. Hyproctor works seamlessly on top of our existing setup. Setting it up takes minutes, and the real-time alerts are easy to act on.
I was amazed at how Hyproctor detects cheating tools that Zoom can’t even see. The invisible copilot detection is a game-changer for technical interviews.
Since we started using Hyproctor, I feel confident that the candidates we evaluate are truly the people we’re hiring. It saves me hours of worry and double-checking.
The exclusive signed app for our team is brilliant. We can trust that sophisticated candidates can’t bypass it, and the regular app rotation gives us an extra layer of protection we’ve never had before.

Job interview cheating happens when a candidate uses unauthorized assistance — such as AI tools, another person, or external software — during an interview without the recruiter’s permission. This compromises the fairness and integrity of the hiring process. Common methods include AI copilots or cheat panels that suggest answers in real time, and remote desktop or screen-sharing apps that let someone else control the candidate’s computer. You can check the list of job interview cheating tools here and the potentially harmful desktop software here.
Some dishonest SaaS providers now sell “interview copilots” — cheating tools that run in stealth mode on a candidate’s computer during live interviews. These panels suggest answers or solutions in real time on the candidate's screen, but remain invisible from the interviewer. Even if the candidate shares their entire screen on Zoom, Teams, Meet, or WebEx, the cheating panel won’t appear. That’s because these tools hook into the native operating system, bypassing what normal screen sharing can capture.
Impersonation happens when someone other than the actual candidate pretends to attend the interview. This could be a friend or colleague who takes the interview on the candidate’s behalf, a “professional interviewer” hired to answer technical questions, or a candidate using fake or borrowed identity documents to appear as someone else. Impersonation undermines the integrity of the hiring process because the recruiter evaluates the wrong person. Without proper detection, companies may end up hiring unqualified candidates, exposing themselves to wasted time, lost resources, and potential security risks.
Hyproctor runs as a lightweight app on the candidate’s device during the interview. It works at the native operating system level, so it can see what Zoom, Meet, Teams, and WebEx cannot. Hyproctor detects cheating and impersonation through multiple layers of checks:
Process monitoring – flags known cheating apps, virtual cameras, and suspicious device setups.
Network validation – scans active connections and compares them against a blacklist of IP addresses linked to cheating services.
Real-time screenshots – captures true OS-level screenshots (not just the sandboxed meeting window) to reveal hidden “invisible” copilots or cheat panels.
AI review – an LLM analyzes screenshots to identify unfamiliar cheat sheets, then shares flagged evidence with the recruiter for final judgment.Impersonation signals – detects remote desktop tools, multiple device interference, or suspicious environment setups that suggest someone else may be controlling or assisting.
Hyproctor never automatically disqualifies candidates — it provides transparent alerts and evidence so recruiters can make the final hiring decision with confidence.
No. Hyproctor never records interviews, collects biometrics, or stores personal information. All checks are performed on a one-time basis: candidate data is used only during the live session and never saved. Recruiters only receive non-sensitive alerts if something suspicious is detected. This approach ensures full GDPR/CCPA compliance and protects candidate privacy.
Hyproctor is designed to minimize both. Known cheating tools are detected with high accuracy. For unknown tools, our AI reviews screenshots to identify suspicious “cheat sheets.” Even then, the recruiter always makes the final decision — candidates are never automatically disqualified.
Hyproctor works with all major interview platforms — including Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and WebEx. It doesn’t replace the tools you already use. Instead, it adds a powerful security layer on top, giving recruiters protection against hidden cheating apps while still using their preferred video platform.
We offer a Free version (no sign-up, no credit card required) for occasional use. Our Pro plan starts at $49/month, which includes advanced hacker-proof solution and detection capability. Enterprises can contact us for custom contracts with pooled usage and exclusive app builds.
Hyproctor is lightweight and quick to run. If a candidate refuses, recruiters can note that as part of the evaluation process. In our experience, most honest candidates welcome the tool because it ensures a fair interview environment.
We continuously update our blacklist of known cheat apps and IP addresses. For unknown threats, Hyproctor’s AI checks candidate screens in real time. We also rotate signed builds for paid users, making it extremely difficult for hackers to bypass our system.
Subscriptions provide access to Hyproctor for the period you select (monthly or annual). In principle, subscription payments are non-refundable once processed, regardless of usage or accidental purchase. For annual plans, we may review account activity and, at our sole discretion, consider a partial refund of up to 50% of the total amount. However, refunds are not guaranteed.
With the free version, candidates share their entire screen and follow instructions on our public proctor page. Recruiters see potential flags through desktop notifications and the proctor app view from the candidate’s computer. We rotate the public app frequently to discourage tampering, but advanced hackers could still attempt bypasses (e.g., replacing the shareware silently or disabling notifications).
With the paid versions (Pro and Enterprise), you receive an exclusive, signed app built only for your account or organization, branded with your name or logo in the UI. This app uses unique cryptographic protocols, making it nearly impossible for hackers to interfere before the interview. Exclusive builds are regularly rotated, so even tech-savvy candidates cannot prepare exploits in advance. Additionally, recruiters can review alerts both from the candidate’s computer and directly on the proctor page, which prevents hackers from suppressing notifications. Functionality is the same as the free version, but the security level is far stronger.
